And we're back with a new update!
This time around, we wanted to focus on fixing and reimplementing old and existing features before we focus on working on the next major update. Expect a bunch more of these patches more frequently, and sooner!
Changes
- Added Bluesky site
- It will appear in the Discord rich presence with a 75% chance of replacing the Twitter button
- Added edit player/world menus
- Added social media buttons to the title screen
- Added several attires
- 1 New Hair Attire
- 2 New Eyes Attires
- 1 New Shirt Attire
- 2 New Shirt Detail Attires
- 2 New Pants Attires
- Added 3 new structures
- Updated FPS reduction system
- Developer's Note: It wasn't very clear on Beta 1.1's changelog on what it does (if it even worked), so I'll be explaining how it works here.
- FPS will go down to 16 when the window is not in focus
- FPS will go down to 8 when AFK (meaning haven't detected an input in 15 minutes)
- FPS will go back up once it detects mouse wheel scrolling or keyboard inputs
- There is no setting to disable this feature, as it is intended to reduce resource usage when necessary.
- Updated main menu's background to be randomly chosen
- Optimized attire sprites
- Optimized vignette
- Optimized startup
- Optimized crafting
Bugfixes
- Fixed several issues related to textbox shortcuts
- Fixed several issues related to memory leaks due to switching menus
- Fixed several issues related to FPS reduction
- Fixed several issues related to inventory slots
- Fixed an issue where the text inside of the textbox isn't synced with what's actually being read
- Fixed an issue where a single pixel on the second hair is colored incorrectly
- Fixed an issue where sending a message without saving the world doesn't get saved in your message history
- Fixed an issue where chunk updates aren't consistent with the entities' physics
- Fixed an issue where the pause text isn't translated properly
- Fixed an issue where pressing the default shirt attire causes the shirt detail attire to change
- Fixed an issue where most crafting recipes with stations get processed incorrectly
- Fixed an issue where the player's inventory gets saved with an incorrect file name
- Fixed an issue where crafting recipes don't properly loop through all their ingredient variants
- Fixed an issue where localizations have incorrect amounts of backslashes
- Fixed an issue where placing a plant crashes the game
- Fixed an issue where textboxes don't have filters to only be available for select characters
- Fixed an issue where exiting a world doesn't display the game's Discord rich presence from the main menu
- Fixed an issue where spawning a projectile crashes the game
